| Clarkson Avenue Enhancement Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Gard Meserve The project widened and resurfaced Clarkson Avenue from the Maple Street intersection southward to the Village limits past Bagdad Road. The new roadway has bicycle lanes on each side and improved pedestrian facilities along the roadway, including to new pedestrian crossings. The project also included new pedestrian facilities at various locations throughout the Village along with bicycle signage that creates a link between Clarkson, Pine Street Arena, SUNY Potsdam, the hospital, and the business from downtown to those located on the northern end of town. Walker Parking Front and Rear Status: Future Projects Project Contact: Gard Meserve Reconstruct and reconfigure the parking lot in front and rear of Walker Arena to provide suitable parking for both Walker Arena and Hantz Field. Hantz Field Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Gard Meserve Vendor: Luck Builders The new artificial turf field designed by QPK Architects is to be completed in two phases, beginning with the field lights, fencing, and the best in class artificial turf field. The turf field measures 285' x 400'. The second phase includes a grandstand/press box with tiered bleachers to accommodate seating for 500 spectators, as well as landscaping, sidewalks, and upgrades to the West Walker Parking lot. Phase I of this project began with development of storm water calculations, grading and site utility plans, and the arrangement of geotechnical exploration relative to general soil rock bed, ground water conditions, and foundation design. Drilling for the field lighting and scoreboard foundations began in winter and re-commenced this spring allowing for the lights to be set up in early April. Field sub-grade remediation plans and logistics are moving forward. Parking lot poles will be reviewed and approved. The stonewall demolition and reconstruction will be coordinated with the Village of Potsdam Bike and Pedestrian Lane project. |

This parking lot will service both the Cheel Campus Center and the CAMP buildings. | Student Center Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Kurt Stimeling Vendor: Pizzagalli Construction Company The Student Center has been built with many student uses in mind including many study rooms and lounges, one large food service area, a bar/cafe area with game room, many different eating areas, Conference and meeting rooms for student groups, a virtual game room, small grocery store, mail room, music practice rooms, facilities for the student newspaper, student radio station, and student television station, a graduate student lounge, international student lounge, and a meditation room. The center of the building is a forum gathering space the full height of the building. It features stepped seating and a large screen television system with a sound system throughout the building. |

| Woodstock Lodge Renovation Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Roy Wilson / Skip Leonard Vendor: Sheehan Office renovations were made in the basement level of Woodstock Lodge. During the fall of 2007 the basement was extensively renovated to create new office spaces for The Clarkson Fund, Advancement Services, and Phonathon. The renovation included a new heating and air conditioning system, and new modular walls, which were constructed to create eight new office spaces, five new student work stations, 23 new Phonathon desks, and two support staff stations. Other upgrades included electrical, new lighting, and flooring. |

| Moore House Renovations Status: Current Construction Project Contact: Gard Meserve Vendor: U.W. Marx The Moore House renovations include a 4th floor addition on each wing with dorm suites for upperclassmen. The additions are scheduled to be completed by August 2011 in order for students to begin using them as residences in the Fall semester of 2011. The center core portion of the project includes a conference space and patio. The project also includes updates to the exterior finishes including masonry, siding, and windows. This portion of the project will continue throughout the winter and is expected to be complete in the summer of 2012. |
| Graham Administrative Renovation Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Gard Meserve Vendor: CU Staff This project includes renovating the center core of the building to consolidate various student services and administrative offices into one facility in order to increase efficiency. The completed Phase 1 portion of the renovation included office spaces on the first floor for the Human Resources department, Helpdesk, and Payroll. The Phase II portion includes administrative offices for Risk Management, Student Administrative Services, Accounts Payable, Finance, and Purchasing, as well as a conference room and lunch room. It is expected to be completed in the summer of 2011. |
| Racquette River Athletic Field Status: Concept Project Contact: Gard Meserve This will be located directly east of the President's House and will be developed to take advantage of the scenic view. This project could include an amphitheater, stadium, garden, exercise stations, gazebo, boat docks, and scenic overlooks. |
| Physical Plant Demolition Status: Design Phase Project Contact: Gard Meserve Removal of the existing physical plant to allow the development of the waterfront property and minimize safety issues regarding university equipment crossing the public roadway. The project will also assess the feasibility of reusing the materials to rebuild it at a new location. |
| Physical Plant Relocation Status: Projects in the Queue Project Contact: Gard Meserve The existing Physical Plant buildings and operation will be relocated from the Clarkson Avenue location to the property south of non-university property off Route 11. The purpose of this relocation is twofold: it will minimize safety issues regarding university equipment crossing the public roadway, and it will allow development of the waterfront property. |

This project added a new 4th floor to each building with dormers to enhance the look of the buildings as well as house an additional 84 students. The project designed by Perkins and Will adds to the aesthetics and cohesiveness of the Clarkson University campus. |

| Hamlin-Powers 4th Floor Addition Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Gard Meserve Vendor: U.W. Marx The addition to the Hamlin-Powers Dormitories will follow the precedent set by the Quad addition completed in the summer of 2009. This features a 4th floor with individual dormers to create single rooms. The back differs from the Quad with a shed dormer that will maximize space and allow for rooms to fit on both sides of the building with a hallway in the middle. Other possible additions include a patio area in the front green space with possible apartment style living areas in the center core of the building. |

| Cheel Locker Room Renovations Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Gard Meserve Vendor: Clarkson University With this project we are creating a seperate changing area in the men's locker room, installing new lockers, relocating existing benches, and installing a new entrance. Our Place Renovation Status: Completed Projects Project Contact: Gard Meserve Vendor: Northern Mechanical Relocate pizza oven and exhaust hood from Bene Pizza to Our Place and add a new exhaust hood to accomodate additional equipment.
