Clarkson Alumni Association President

Jill Thiemann began her career as Clarkson University when she was accepted to the Stephan Yelenik '77 & Jill Thiemann '90rigorous program of the Clarkson School, a unique program for high school students who have completed eleventh grade and are ready to begin college studies. She was fully matriculated as a sophomore the following year and received her bachelor of science degree in economics from Clarkson in 1990.  Jill received of a doctor of law degree from Widener University School of Law, in Harrisburg, Penn and currently is an associate for the law offices of O’Malley, Surman & Michelini in Brick, NJ.  She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Ocean County Bar Association, as well as an active member of the OCBA Family Law Committee.

Since her Clarkson graduation, Thiemann has served Clarkson and her fellow alumni in many ways including volunteering as an admissions representative for Clarkson University, chairing the activities committee for the Class of 1990 reunion in 2010, and serving as a member-at-large on the alumni admission committee for the Clarkson University Alumni Council.

In 2005, Jill was honored with the Charles S. Ehrlich award for her dedication and outstanding effort in assisting Clarkson’s Office of Admission and Alumni & Parent Relations with the recruitment of highly qualified prospective students.
