The estate tax is gone. . or is it? The estate tax is repealed for 2010, but it may be reinstated, retroactively. And what about 2011 and beyond? What about gift tax? GST? Don't know what GST is? Now, more than ever, it is important for every adult to become an educated consumer regarding estate planning to ensure a better retirement and to provide for loved ones.
Martin Schwab '83, an attorney who concentrates his practice in the area of trusts and estates law and a partner in the Syracuse offices of Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, will present the latest information on advance directives, power of attorney, medicaid planning, avoiding guardianship, planning for those with special needs, estate taxes, and charitable giving to help you save money and make the most of your estate planning during these challenging economic times.
